dedicated people to ensure that we continue to provide superior value to our customers.
As a Fiber Technician at SCADA International you will have the overall responsibility for splicing,

States (primarily in the Midwest). You will also support the installation and connection of servers
associated with the turbine applications and be responsible for all fiber related work on site.
To meet our expectations for a Fiber Technician, we expect that you:

• Are proactive and self-motivated in your approach to the work.
• Collaborate well with your team.
• Posses the flexibility to adapt as plans may change due to reasons beyond your control.
• Are motivated and able to travel for extended periods of time.
To be an excellent Fiber Technician you need a strong motivation to be the best at what you do and
take pride in your craftsmanship. You thrive in an environment where two days are never the same
and you like traveling on the job. You are able to work independently and rely upon experience and
good judgment to plan and accomplish daily and weekly milestones.
We imagine the ideal candidate for this position has at least 2 years of splicing experience and is
able to perform the installation, splicing, fusion, termination, testing/troubleshooting and OTDR

you have a Technical Certificate or an OSHA 10 Certification it is considered an extra plus.
This position requires the ability to spend significant time working while standing, kneeling and
walking on uneven ground, as well as possible climbing of ladders or being in high places greater
than 15 feet, working in tight spaces, and lifting 50+ lbs., and candidates cannot be colorblind.
Candidates should only apply if they are capable of working in these conditions.
As one of our Fiber Technicians, you will be given a lot of responsibility in ensuring we continue to
meet our high standards of quality, and you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in the
development of SCADA International across the US.
This job is great for someone who thrives in a dynamic organization, where adaptability and
collaboration are key, and the road from thought to action is short. Most importantly, we offer an
entrepreneurial and friendly environment with innovative and bright colleagues.
